Delete Your Account

SABR App — Applied Educational Technology Lab, University of Notre Dame Lucy Institute

You can request deletion of your SABR App account and associated data at any time. Account deletion is processed manually by our team after we receive your request.

How to request account deletion

In the SABR App: Open Profile → Delete Account, enter your email, and send the deletion request.
By email (below): Enter the email address tied to your account and tap Request Account Deletion to open your mail app with a pre-filled message to our team.
Manual email: Send a message to aetl-list@nd.edu with subject SABR Code Account Deletion and include the email address for the account you want removed.

Please enter a valid email to proceed.

If your mail app does not open: Email aetl-list@nd.edu with subject SABR Code Account Deletion and ask us to delete the account for your email address.

Data that will be deleted

When your request is processed, we delete:

Your Firebase Authentication login
Your profile (users/{uid}): name, organization, and email
Your focus area selections (user_focus_areas/{uid})
Your lesson recording metadata in Firestore and associated audio files in Firebase Storage (recordings/{uid}/...)

Data that may be retained

Backup copies stored for disaster recovery may persist for a limited period before automatic purging.
Data we are required to retain for legal, security, or compliance purposes.

Processing time

Deletion requests are typically processed within 30 business days of receipt. You will receive confirmation once your account has been removed.
